Albania Mission Trip Review

English Version- This was my first experience on mission and, although I had never thought of visiting Albania, I felt that this was an opportunity to take. The days spent in Albania, visiting various locations, was something I wouldn’t hesitate to do again. Together with the team I had opportunities to visit four churches, participate in a youth meeting, visit projects set up by believers to assist autistic children and provide employment opportunities as well as the chance to visit individual families. Our final stop was the Bible College attended by students from different Balkan nations. It was wonderful to see the Albanian people open to the Gospel and to witness the efforts of the pastors and their co-workers to grow the work and disciple the people entrusted to them.

Questa e’ stata la mia prima esperienza in missione ed anche se non avevo mai pensato di visitare l’Albania sentivo che dovevo afferrare questa opportunita’.
I giorni spesi in Albania, visitando varie localita’, rimane qualcosa che non esiterei a fare di nuovo. Insieme al gruppo ho avuto l’opportunita’ di visitare Quattro chiese, di partecipare ad una riunione di giovani, di visitare progetti cominciati da visite nelle case di famiglie. La nostra ultima tappa e’ stata la scuola biblica frequentata da studenti provenienti da diverse nazioni dei Balcani. E’ stato meraviglioso vedere il popolo Albanese aperto al Vangelo e vedere gli sforzi dei pastori e dei loro co-operatori che si prodigano a fare crescere l’opera e discepolare le anime a loro affidate.

English Version This is the second time I been in Albania and it was a blessed time. We spent wonderful days with local churches and local families and it was amazing to see their hunger for God and their gratitude and generosity towards us, despite the material poverty of many of them. We saw people saved; young people touched by God and responding to the call to serve Him; pastors and organizations encouraged by our support and prayers, and much more. I believe, that as many other nations, Albania is a place where there is a tremendous need to preach the Gospel and the number of people that still need to be reached by the good news of Jesus Christ is enormous. So let us continue to go and reach out, as Jesus sent us to preach the Gospel to all nations and to be a blessing to others!

Questa è la seconda volta che sono stato in Albania, dove sono stato molto benedetto e dove abbiamo trascorso giorni meravigliosi con le chiese locali e le famiglie locali. E’ stato incredibile vedere la loro fame per Dio e la loro gratitudine e generosità verso di noi, nonostante la poverta’ materiale di molti di loro. Abbiamo visto persone salvate; giovani benedetti da Dio e mossi a rispondere alla chiamata a servirlo; pastori e organizzazioni incoraggiati dal nostro appoggio e preghiera, e molto di più. Credo che, come molte altre nazioni, l'Albania è un luogo dove vi sia una grande necessità di predicare il Vangelo e il numero di persone che ancora devono essere raggiunte dalla buona notizia di Gesù Cristo è enorme. Quindi continuiamo ad andare ovunque Dio ci chiami, poiche’ Gesù ci ha mandati a predicare il Vangelo a tutte le nazioni ed essere una benedizione per altri!
